The "200 Best Ad Photographers worldwide" series of volumes, each of which boasts more than 400 pages, was first launched in 2004. Published biannually, the highly regarded title has seen a steady rise in sales figures since its launch. The volume is particularly popular with creative directors, art directors, copywriters, and advertising industry art buyers since it provides them with a comprehensive market overview of the world's best advertising photographers. Following preselection by editor-in-chief Michael Weinzettl and Anne-Rose Schlutbohm (former publisher of Profession Photographe), an international jury selects the 200 best advertising photographers. The panel is composed of Suzee Barrabee (Director of Art and Print production at Goodby Silverstein and Partners), Damon Collins (founder member of Joint London), Rafael Gil (art director at Africa in São Paulo), Christophe Gilbert (photographer), Shintaro Shiratori (president of the Japan Advertising Photographers' Association - APA), and Anne Telford (Communication Arts).
